I'm not exactly on a self-imposed exile from blogging, but been pretty busy these past month. Fasting month makes you tired...
I guess its all in the mind, and in the faith as well.

But i couldn't resist not blogging about this.

US launches AIG rescue loan to avoid market catastrophe.
NEW YORK: The US Federal Reserve announced Tuesday it would make an unprecedented US$85-billion rescue loan to save insurance giant American International Group (AIG) from bankruptcy amid fears of a catastrophic meltdown on financial markets.

(read further at Channel News Asia here)

I think this an overdue market correction, following the burst of the US Housing Bubble. Too much risk was taken over these loans, and the financial system has only itself to blame for aggregating the sub-prime loans to other securities and hedge funds.
This is a domino crisis of confidence, and I'm sure that they won't be much banks out there to employ wannabe biz graduates like me in the future. Sigh.

anyway, the silver lining is....

(if you can't infer this, you're a noob)

I'm sure there's a conspiracy by the press to not mention Man Yoo as one of its subsidiaries or assets.
I hope Berbatov gets forced back to Spurs, then Man Yoo might just remember how to beat us again. ha!

Dirk Kuyt is my unsung hero (but he really needs to work at the shooting ground.)
Masch is the man-of-game.

And the forward of the game award goes to....... Wes Brown!
